Pitchfork + Apple = Hipster commercialism we can believe in

That “dominant element”? It’s the banner ad. And it’s beyond annoying. Is this really the only way sites can make money?

The new layout is much improved, but in need of a dominant element. Right now the three-column approach at the top has my eyes flickering across the screen. Everything floats.
